Sudir Raju – Experienced Informatics Business Leader
A longtime business leader with experience in the United States and Europe, Sudir Raju serves as executive vice president and chief health informatics officer at a health informatics firm in Rockland, Maryland. In his leadership role with the company, he manages external contracts with public and private organizations, and oversees the development of solutions for the healthcare industry. As the principal investigator and project director for a major cancer therapy evaluation program at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Sudir Raju creates enterprise informatics solutions for cancer clinical trials conducted at the NCI and National Institutes of Health (NIH). During his tenure with his company, he has secured numerous industry awards from the NIH and NCI.
Before taking up his current role in the health informatics field, Sudir Raju spent seven years with a major trading company in London. Between 2012 and 2017, he developed the company’s index business and established a futures and options market, adhering to the standards set forth by the European Securities and Market Authority (ESMA). Drawing on experience in a variety of global markets, Mr. Raju cultivated a wide network of buyers and sellers across the world, ultimately growing the company by 700% to include more than $600 billion in assets under management.
Before launching his career in finance and health informatics, Sudir Raju received his undergraduate degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. He later went on to pursue a master’s degree in computer systems management at the University of Maryland and a master of business administration at Cornell University.
